How do I connect my bank?
Solari connects to your bank through Open Banking (the European PSD2 regulation), strictly read-only: we can see your transactions and balances, but never move money. If your bank isn't available yet, you can add manual accounts or import a CSV.
Is it safe?
Yes. The connection to your bank runs over Open Banking (the European PSD2 regulation) in read-only mode: your bank username and password never pass through Solari and we cannot move your money, only read your transactions and balances. Your data is stored encrypted and each person can only see their own.
Can I use it with my partner?
Yes. You can create a shared household where each person has their own login and, at the same time, you both see one common picture of your finances: accounts, budget and goals.
Does it work with several currencies?
Yes. Each account has its own currency (any ISO 4217) and Solari converts everything to euros using European Central Bank exchange rates, so you see your total net worth as a single figure.
What if my bank isn't available?
You can register manual accounts for any asset or debt, and import your transactions from a CSV file. It all counts towards your budget, your net worth and your reports, exactly like a synced account.
